![]() This was a joint tour with Jay-Z, and he was good too, but I don’t think there’s much of a comparison between a Beyonce performance and a Jay-Z performance. Every part of her singing and dancing was absolute perfection. I will say that Beyonce sounded incredible. This, because I couldn’t make Beyonce out form such a distance, and so I spent the entire show watching the screen behind her. In any case, I consider $70 to be a splurge for concert tickets, so our awful seats were a slap in the face.Īlthough I could tell that the production of the show was out of this world (fire, contortionists, dancers, incredible set), it felt more like watching a music video than watching a live performance. To sit in the GA section on the floor, I can only imagine you’re looking at paying upwards of 2k. I have heard that in some cities, and if you wait too long to purchase, tickets to a Beyonce show can average up to $700 apiece. I should note, I was expecting to have nosebleed seats because we only paid $70 each. Our seats were literally in the last row of the ENTIRE stadium. I think we only missed one or two songs of Beyonce’s, and all of the opener, DJ Khalid, which I can’t say I’m too upset about.įinally, we made it into the venue around 8:30. Traffic was absolutely insane, and long story short, we were late. Getting to the damn show was its own beast that I won’t even get into. The largest concert I’ve been to in recent memory was at Bill Graham, which holds 8,500 people max. I go to concerts constantly, but all of them are at way smaller venues. We arrived late (ugh, I know), as nobody in my group was really prepared for the pandemonium that is a stadium concert. I went in with some of the highest expectations for a concert ever. I wish that I could write that this was an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime memory and one of the greatest nights of all time. ![]() This was a totally different concert experience for me in a lot of ways. On Saturday September 29th, we saw Beyonce and Jay-Z at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara CA.
